Parry Sounds ~ Ideas and Opinions, In and Around Parry Sound

Like you I read the news this week that two people in leadership roles in Parry Sound, library and emergency services, were relieved of their jobs. I have no idea what the reasons were for the changes but i wish both of them well. Although I did not have the opportunity to work closely with with either of them, they both struck me as competent and responsible in our limited interactions.

I hope the community will be provided with a little more information about the terminations, while maintaining an appropriate level of confidentiality. This is to ensure that the town staff, council and boards are appropriately exercising their responsibilities. I have seen in my business career some very inappropriate terminations. (No, I wasn’t one of them.)
