A bit of mulch for the Town’s flower beds. Mulch can make a big difference in retaining moisture and enriching the soil. For some reason Parry Sound doesn’t seem to believe in mulch.

But don’t get orange coloured mulch. Not only is it ugly in my opinion, but it adds another chemical (the dye) into the soil. And what we have at the Town’s Transfer Station isn’t mulch. Spend a few bucks and it will not only make things look better, it will reduce the need to weed and water. More time to cut grass. (As a Town we are pretty good at keeping the grass cut. Unless of course it’s the Stockey Centre. But that’s another whole issue.)
