This preview is a little bit late, but there doesn’t seem to be too much on the agenda in terms of mission critical issues. There are a couple of letters regarding fluoridation, one in support and one against. Fluoridation is off the agenda and out of mind, for at least a couple of years.
The KPO Summary (9.4.1) and Financial Report (9.5.1) are always interesting to review, but at this point I have little to offer regarding either of them. The By-Law enforcement agreement with Carling is being renewed (10.3.2) which helps offset some of the Town’s By-law staffing expenses.

It may be Groundhog Day, but it feels as though Spring has already arrived. It’s been a strange winter. There will be some winners, homeowners and their heating bills, as well as some losers, the businesses that provide snow related services (plowing, snow machine services, auto repair shops, and the like) as well as the restaurants, hotels and services that cater to the real ‘snow birds’. I miss the snow and the cold, and the opportunity to get out on the Big Sound and explore the islands. There won’t be a ski trip out to Hole in the Wall this year.
