A very short meeting agenda this week. The key items are noted below. The most interesting item on the agenda is Item 5.1, 2017 Citizen Budget Survey. I’m not sure if it is being proposed or if it has been completed. This is the first I have heard about it.
There is nothing on the agenda beyond what’s written that’s worth commenting on. The full agenda package is available online at the Town of Parry Sound’s website and from the ParrySounds website.
Public Meeting
2.1.1 – Council will hold a public meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. The applicant has requested to amend the Special Provision 16 (SP26.16) Zone to permit six residential units. Currently, the zone only permits four residential units, but 6 units are in the current building. This will legitimize an existing use. All other provisions of the R3 zone shall apply.
